Snacks at the Office!!!

Snacking at the office can be tempting, particularly if everyone else is eating foods that are loaded with simple carbohydrates such as biscuits, cakes, chocolates and muffins. You will get an initial high from these foods and then suffer the big low when your blood sugar levels drop experiencing irritability, fatigue and low mood.

Rice Cake Combos

Rice cakes are gluten free and make a healthy quick snack topped with one of these delicious combinations: 

  • 60g cottage cheese and sliced tomato
  • Mashed avocado and tuna
  • Tahini paste and sliced boiled eggs
  • Ricotta cheese and smoked salmon
  • Mashed avocado, sliced chicken and tomato
  • Tahini, mashed avocado and chia seeds
